DESCRIBING THE CHARMS OF A WOMAN TO A MAN
Ibne Mas’ood رضي الله عنه narrates that Rasulullāh ﷺ has said that: “A woman should not look at another woman and touch her, then describe her to her husband in such a way as if he is seeing her.”
A. Whilst it is permissible for a woman to look and to touch another woman [within the Islamic boundaries], the above hadith prohibites a woman to look and to touch another woman with the intention of getting to know her physical qualities [and then describe her to her husband].
B. The above act is very shameless and immoral as this will either:
● Create dirty and filthy thoughts in his mind [for the woman described],
● OR he will eventually fall for her. As a result, she will lose her husband and ruin her own life.
C. It is permissible for a woman to describe the beauty [within limits] of a girl to a man who he intends to marry.
