I am about to rant to you… to rant to you about OUR conditions which are affecting the conditions of OUR BELOVED BROTHERS AND SISTERS AROUND the World. We do not realise that our actions have an adverse reaction. Everything we do has a reaction
Every action has a reaction…
We have become very arrogant. We do not want to hear the truth. We don’t want others telling us what to do. We are the Ummah of Rasulullah salAllahu alayhi wa salam… we claim that we are Muslims…but the kalimah isn’t even found in our actions.
WE CLAIM THAT WE ARE THE UMMAT OF THAT RASUL WHO STAYED AWAKE AT NIGHT UNTIL HIS BLESSED FEET WERE SWOLLEN, CRYING FOR US, CRYING AND SAYING ‘MY UMMAH’ REPEATEDLY BUT WE ARE THE SAME ONES WHO GO AGAINST HIS BLESSED TEACHINGS, OUR WEDDINGS ARE SO LAVISH, WE WASTE SO MUCH, THERE IS NO SIMPLICITY IN WHAT WE DO, WE FOLLOW THE WEST, ISLAM IS NOT TO BE WITH THE TIMES BUT TO BE FOLLOWING THE TIMES OF THAT HANDSOME BEAUTIFUL NABI WHO WAS MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE MOON, WHO CAME MORE THAN 1400 YEARS AGO, AND WHAT DO HIS BLESSED TEACHINGS BRING? ONLY GOODNESS…
Look at weddings for example. If we have to adopt simplicity, there would be much much more barakah (this is proven from the Hadith), but what would people say? Is this a mayyit (funeral) or a wedding? The actual Sunnah is to have a Walimah..but nowadays even the Walimah’s aren’t according to Sunnah. Why do we want to follow the west in everything we do? We are Muslims! We have our own unqiue, perfect religion, but we are falling into ruin… into destruction…
They say it will be completely seperate, as in men and women will not mix, but no such thing. The groom is sitting with the bride on the ladies side with the purda in between. The old ladies are sitting and discussing the couple, “Aww, they make such a good match.” , “Look at that suit of his.” and the gossip doesn’t end. That isn’t seperate. Why would you want to flaunt your husband infront of the females? After the food arrives, people waste so much. It is so sad… and on the other hand, we are crying for Syria?!
Then openly, we are sinning. Openly we are posting pictures of ourselves. Openly sinning. WHY?
Many marriages are breaking today. I think its because of social media. The couples are posting so many pictures of themselves. For what? For who? Why would you even want others to look at your spouse? He/she is all yours… not for the world!
Photography?! ALLAHU AKBAR. The situation is so sad. May Allah guide us..
Just sit in the company of the pious. Just try to be a better person, a better human being…
We are unable to control ourselves from sin. We sin recklessly with no worry or fear. Yes, we are insaan and we will sin coz we are not sinless but our attitude?
Have we even recognised our Rabb? Have we recognised our Allah? Do we know who Allah Tabaraka wa Ta’ala is? Do we know who we are disobeying???
But we dont even care anymore!
The Muslims are suffering in Syria… a suffering like no other. And it is us. Now we all want to create awareness and make their condition known, so someone can help but have we realised that it is only our Rabb that can help?! Do we realise that Allah Ta’ala says that in the Qur’an that whatever difficulty afflicts you is from yourselves. What we are doing is affecting our Muslim brothers around the world.
Allah will not change a people unless they change what is in themselves.
And what is in ourselves? The desire to be like the west in every way possible.
You might read this post and be like whatever, yeah we’ll change.. but when? Life is short…and you dont know but what you can do can make a very big difference!
Yes, the condition is sad. Inhumane.
Allah Ta’ala says in the Qur’an:
And do not think that Allah is neglectful regarding what the oppressors have done.
And your Rabb is not forgetful.
So Allah knows the condition of the oppressed ones. Our du’aas are with them.. its not going to help by going on about what evil is being done to them but turning to Allah is our solution.
Let us change out lives..
Let us become beter human beings..
Let us become good.
Try to help financially by sending money to trustworthy organisations. Remember them in your du’aas. Cry for the Ummah!
The condition is very sad… May Allah ease their sufferings..
May Allah forgive us for our shortcomings and remove the love of the world from us. Aameen!
Whatever good I have said is from Allah and whatever wrong I have said is from myself and shaytaan.
And Allah knows best.
