But that was love…

Do we know the complete and true description of our role models? Do we know how beautiful their eyebrows were? Do we know how elegantly they walk? Do we know the description of how they spoke?
And really the answer is no. If we take celebrities, princes, princesses, and other great personalities (in our eyes) we do not even know how they actually sleep at night… which side they sleep, what practices they do, none.

I don’t think there is anyone in this entire world who has been described to such intricate detail as our beloved Nabi Muhammad صلي الله عليه و سلم!

From how much of water he used while making wudhu to how he treated his family.

Bring one super star or model or whatever term you would like, and describe to me the texture of their palms?

But my Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam, Allah has preserved every detail, quality and manner of his.. so blessed was he.. and so blessed is the land in which he is buried… May Allah send His Blessings upon Muhammed bin Abdillah صلي الله عليه و سلم

His palms were softer than silk.. they were full of flesh.

He had black eyes.

He walked with humility.

He was beautiful in every aspect. His Sunnah is beautiful in every aspect.

He always smelt of musk..

And then before he entered his house, one of his wives states that he used the miswaak before entering not to cause any trouble to the next person. He was a Mercy to the Worlds.

And how one day Ali radhiyAllahu anhu says that Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam sat between him and Fatimah radhiyAllahu anha and Ali radhiyAllahu anhu says I could actually feel the coolness of his feet on my stomach… and he salAllahu alayhi wa salam advised his son-in-law and daughter to recite 33 x SubhanAllah, 33 x Alhamdulillah and 34 x Allahu Akbar.

And then so beautifully, it brings tears to the eyes regarding the love my Beloved salAllahu alayhi wa salam shared with his companions… The Sahaba radhiyAllahu anhum say that out of awe they couldn’t raise their gaze to the blessed face of my Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam when he entered a gathering… but my Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam would look to Hadhrat Abu Bakr and Umar radhiyAllahu anhuma and smile and they would smile back at him..

I recall one incident regarding the acceptance of Islam of Hadhrat Abu Bakr radhiyAllahu anhu’s father, Abu Quhafa radhiyAllahu anhu at the time of the conquest of Makkah. Abu Quhafa radhiyAllahu anhu was an old blind man.. yet Hadhrat Abu Bakr brought his father to Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam so as to cause no trouble at all to my Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam…

And some even uttered that it would please me more if the uncle of Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam (Abu Tailb) had to accept Islam than my own father because that would please Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam…

That was LOVE …

It brings tears to my eyes when my Beloved SalAllahu alayhi wa salam told Hadhrat Mu’adh bin Jabal radhiyAllahu anhu that maybe next year you won’t see me.. and you’ll visit my grave.. and Mu’adh radhiyAllahu departed to Yemen… the sadness he must have felt…
And then the story of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah radhiyAllahu anhu; some narrations state that one day Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam saw me carrying a cat in my sleeve and he said what is this O Abu Hurairah (giving the title as Abu Hurairah!)

And another says Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam called him Abu Hirrah (which also means father of cats as a title)..

So beautiful subhanAllah…

And he made du’aa for us..

He loved us like no other…

O Allah, grant us the true Love of Your Messenger Muhammed salAllahu alayhi wa salam!
اللهم صلي علي سيدنا و مولانا محمد

اللهم صلي علي محمد و علي آله الف الف مرة
