بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
Du’aa is a suplication, a prayer to Allah Ta’ala, asking Allah to fulifll a need or desire of yours.
REMEMBER: 1. Allah will give the believer what he/she has supplicated for.
2. If what the believer is asking is not good or harmful for the believer in this world, Allah will store it for him for the life of the Hereafter.
3. If what the believer is asking is not good or harmful for the believer in this world, Allah will turn away from the believer an equivalent amount of evil.
1. Salaawat/Durood upon Nabi (salAllahu alayhi wa salam)
Convey salawat upon Rasulullah (salAllahu alayhi wa salam) at the beginning as well as the end. (Abu Dawud)
Why wouldn’t a du’aa be accepted if Salaawat and Durood are sent on the one who the Universe was created for Muhammed ibn Abdillah (salAllahu alayhi wa salam)?
An excellent durood/salawaat is Durood-e-Ibrahim which is proven from the Hadith.
It is said that one who reads a lot of Istighfaar will be one who’s du’aas will be most likely to be accepted.
There are many incidents confirming this but due to it being lenghty I will not mention it.
May Allah make us from amongst those who constantly make istighfaar.
3. Abstaining from unlawful and doubtful food.
If you eat unlawful food, your ibaadah won’t be accepted for 40 days meaning it will be a hindrance in the acceptance of one’s du’aas.
4. Tahajjud it or?
Abu Umamah radhiyAllahu anhu narrates that Nabi salAllahu alayhi wa salam was asked: “Which du’aa is most likely to be accepted?” He salAllahu alayhi wa salam replied: “The du’aa that is made in the latter part of the night and after the obligatory (fardh) salaahs.” (Tirmidhi)
5. Drink Zam – Zam water
Du’aa is most likely to be accepted at such a time!
6. Make du’aa during the Adhaan
7. TRIED AND TESTED METHOD
Imam Jazri rahimahullah says that du’aas are assuredly accepted (a) when seeing the Ka’bah either for the first time or otherwise;
(b) when du’aa is made between the two Names of ‘Allah’ while reciting the following aayat of Surah An’aam:
و ﺇِﺫَﺍ ﺟَﺎﺀَﺗْﻬُﻢْ ﺁﻳَﺔٌ ﻗَﺎﻟُﻮﺍ ﻟَﻦْ ﻧُﺆْﻣِﻦَ ﺣَﺘَّﻰٰ ﻧُﺆْﺗَﻰٰ ﻣِﺜْﻞَ ﻣَﺎ ﺃُﻭﺗِﻲَ ﺭُﺳُﻞُ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ۘ
(Make a du’aa now and continue reciting …)
[Ayat 124 of Surah An’aam. Juz/Para 8]
Many Ulama including Shaikh Imdaad Al-Maqdasi have confirmed the assured acceptance of Du’aa between the two names of Allah in the above verse. Also, it is the only place in the Qur’aan where Allah comes and there’s a pause and Allah appears again! SubhanAllah!
8. On the eve of Jumuah
9. When it rains
10. Be hopeful of it’s acceptance.
A point to take note of here is that if you make du’aa for someone who isn’t present, the du’aa will most likely be accepted. Also, when you make du’aa for someone who isn’t present, the angels say ‘and for you the same’ , meaning you will get the same as you made for the next person.
A/N: Request for du’aaa for myself as well as the rest of the Ummah.
