Dr Aafia Siddiqui

Aafia Siddiqui was born on 2 March 1972. Aafia is a Pakistani who studied neuroscience in the US. Aafia is the youngest of three siblings. Aafia is also a haafidha of the whole Quraan!

Thats just a brief introduction to Aafia. Most of us probably do know of Aafia Siddiqui.

Currently, Siddiqui is in Federal Carswell Prison. She has been sentenced to 86 years in prison.

86 years from 2010…lets count.. 2096.

Like seriously? Life in prison?

How fair is that?

Aafia was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, and with attempting to kill US personnel.

If you research Aafia’s case, it is very difficult to find the full truth as there are sometimes different versions etc. That is why i do not have much to say about the case cause perhaps it couldn’t be the truth..

The truth will eventually come out.

Where is justice in the world today??

What has Aafia done so grave that she is sentenced to life in prison?

According to what I’ve read on The Guardian, Aafia said: “I do not want any bloodshed. I do not want any misunderstanding. I really want to make peace and end the wars.”

Okay..just imagine this..Judge Berman sentenced Aafia 86 years in prison. So, Aafia urged her supporters to remain calm. “Don’t get angry. Forgive Judge Berman.”

That is what she said..such a clean heart she posesses!

As the hearing ended, Judge Berman told Aafia that she had the right to file an appeal, but she seemed uninterested. “I appeal to Allah (God) and He hears me.”

Oh and Syria. Yeah? They killing as in literally and Aafia didn’t kill a soul. But they killing in Syria. So don’t they also need to get a prison sentence too? Won’t the penalty be more severe if you kill??

They killing people daily, yet no sentence. She killed not a soul and 86 years in prison?

Justice will prevail. No matter what.

Where is the justice anyway? Research this on the web and see what you find. I told you my reasons for not including the full story…

Heres something to read: http://www.ciibroadcasting.com/2014/04/01/11-years-on-us-government-cant-break-dr-aafias-imaan/

A Mother. A sister. A Daughter..but a Muslimah before everything else.. tortured. Humiliated. And we comfortably act as if nothings going on? Didn’t Nabi صلي الله عليه و سلم  say something to the effect that the Muslim Ummah is like one body. If one part is in pain the rest also feels the pain.

Lets lift our hands and spare a thought for her, not only her for the entire Muslim Ummah!

Allah will answer our duaas!

Lets all take out time..out of 24 hours even a moment? Make duaa for Prisoner 650 – Dr Aafia Siddiqui..and for the rest of the Muslim ummah offcourse.

Oh Allah. Free Aafia Siddiqui. Oh Allah. Whatever Aafia is going through now, You ease it for her. Oh Allah. Grant Aafia the best and remove the worst from her. Oh Allah. If hidaayah is meant for her opressors give it to them. But if it isn’t meant for them destroy them as You have destroyed the people in the past… Aameen.

  1. Aafia Siddiqui’s story pains me every time I read it. It is such a shame and a pity that the U.S government always turns a blind eye to her plight despite her cause having garnered so much of outside support.
I totally agree with you, dua is the most powerful tool and we should remember her and those that are being oppressed every day in our duas because surely if this were a member of our own family we would go to the ends of the earth to help free them but what we fail to realize is that we are part of one family…and more greatly so…we are part of one Ummah!

May Allah SWT in his infinite mercy and wisdom, grant us all the ability to stand up against any kind of wrong and help us to become and Ummah that our Nabi S.A.W.S. can be proud of-Ameen
